My first Cream Puff

I'm spending my MC today with my little Mawaddah. Both of us are having fever with flu & cough. Mwdh temp. is 38 while myself is 37. I'm not sending Mus'ab to babysitter's house, but sending him to Atok&Wan's house. Reason, he always like to bully his sister. I cannot handle my emo and anger when facing with his nakal attitude and tantrum.

Last weekend my SIL's family, Kak Ain spent a night in our house as she was attending a Seminar in KL. My kids seem really enjoy spending the weekend with playing, laughing, fighting etc with their counsin, Abir & Aufa.

Before the went back to Sitiawan, I baked my first Cream Puff for the kids. The recipe is from Yani, myrecipe.org but I did a bit change.

Here we go the recipe:
100ml water
100ml milk
90gm butter
120gm flour
4 eggs
You also need a round nozzle

1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon cornstarch
4 tablespoons sugar
200 ml (1 cup) fresh milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon butter

For the first time. I think it's quite hard to shape it by using piping bag. Will improve later maybe?? any tips?

Tw0 of my officemate, Elis & Sarah is celebrating birthday in Feb. So, I baked this Marble Cheesecake for them, all officemate also enjoyed it except my bos. She was MC on Monday.

Kuih Kole Kacang

Selasa Abang puasa, jadi aku buatkan Kuih Kole Kacang. Aku memang jarang bangat masak kuih tradisional. So, ini percubaan kedua buat kuih ni. Percubaan pertama ada 2 benda yang aku tak puas hati: 1) termanis 2) tahi minyak kureng jadi

Alhamdulillah percubaan kedua menjadi. Bawa ofis, kawan-kawan kata sedap ;)

Bahan A

3 cawan pati santan

Garam

Acuan 10 - 12 inci

Bahan B (1st step)

300 gm tepung kacang hijau

4 cawan air

Gaul bahan B dan biarkan sekurang-kurangnya 2 jam. Seelok-eloknya semalaman.

Bahan C (2nd step)

400gm gula merah . Original recipe: 450 gm

1/2 cawan air

1 helai daun pandan

Masak bahan C hingga gula larut, tapis dan biarkan sejuk.

Bahan D (3rd step)

1 1/2 cawan pati santan

Garam

Masak bahan D hingga menjadi tahi minyak. Ketepikan.

Cara menyediakannya

1.Campurkan bahan A, B dan C. Gaul rata.

2. Masak atas api sederhana sambil sentiasa dikacau selama 15 - 20 minit atau hingga nampak agak berminyak. Kacau penuh kesabaran. Jgn ralit buat keje lain, kang hangus bawah dia.

3. Setelah masak, tuang ke dalam loyang.

4. Taburkan tahi minyak di atas kuih dan biarkan betul-betul sejuk sebelum dipotong. tak perlu masuk peti sejuk

Masa kali pertama buat aku follow 100%, hasilnya banyak. Kalau nak makan berapa kerat orang je, buat half adunan saja.

Major Plan 2007 # 1: Curtain Fiesta

Alhamdulillah, cuti raya Cina dimanfaatkan dengan Projek Menjahit Langsir Rumah. This is actually one of the major plan in my diary this year. FYI, next major plan is kitchen renovation that maybe commence on May/June this year, insyallah. Abang, sokong la yer ;)

Setakat hari Selasa, langsir-langsir yang dah berjaya disiapkan:

Day curtain – sliding door living hall

Important lesson for me:

Sebenarnya inilah kali pertama aku menjahit langsir. Bukannya pandai. Tapi untuk pakai di rumah sendiri bolehla. Nak tempah semua, kos upah mahal sangat. Duit nak guna untuk ubahsuai rumah ;) Me & mom dah pergi survey banyak kedai benornya untuk tahu upah kos jahit langsir. Contoh, Nagoya, Nagoya, Elyza. Buat masa ni sayang duit la dulu. Kalau dah ada rezeki lebih 10 tahun lagi, boleh la tempah yang lagi elok (agaknya?)

Ada 3 pengajaran penting yang aku belajar dari menjahit langsir ni:

1) Curtain Band- Ni belajor dari Day Curatin pertama yang aku jahit. Aku tak plak terfikir untuk susun kearah bawah Band tu. Main jahit je asal lurus. Lepas dah siap, saje-saje nak gantung nak tgk cantik ke idak. Rupanya, band terjahit arah ke atas. So, terpaksa buka balik jahitan. Nasib baik , belum jahir kain-kain seterusnya.

2) Curtain Pattern- Ni plak belajor dari Night curtain pertama yang aku jahit. Due to this is tingkap 3 panel, so aku kene sambung sekeping + half keping. Tak faham takpe, orang biasa jahit langsir je paham kot?! Coz benda ni pon aku baru tahu & belajor..hahaha..aku tak plak terfikir kene pastikan pattern bunga atas kain tu mesti duduk searah, yakni pattern bunga mesti memanjang ke bawah. Bila dah siap, dan aku gantung, sebab saje2 nk tgk..aku ajak mak aku dating umah untuk tgk. Aduh, mak terus tanya, kenapa corak bunga sekeping ke arah atas, satu keeping lagi ke arah bawah. So, bila nak kene bukak jahitan balik ni?

3) Panjang ukuran kain- Semua Night Curtain dah hampir siap dipotong. Yang pasti, kain tak cukup untuk buat lapisan luar skali yang ada fesyen sket tu. Itulah, tade experience so tak pandai estimate. Sabtu ni kene la ajak Abang ke Nagoya sekali lagi. Dalam rekod, dah 3 kali pergi Nagoya masa sales ni ;)

Mudah-mudahan, aku dapat belajar dari kesilapan-kesilapan di atas.

Easy homemade pizza & Apple Cinnamon Souffle

Finally, I got the chance to use two cooking gadgets that I bought about 6 months ago: Pizza pan & Souffle dish. This is actually the past 2 weeks recipe ;)

1) Easy homemade pizza
Sos Piza:
1 Bawang besar, potong dadu
1 tin kecil tomato paste
4-5 sudu tomato sauce
5-10 cili kering, blend finely
1 sudu teh spices like Oregano, Basil
Sedikit air
Garam
Cara:
Tumis bawang, then masukkan cili kering diikuti bahan2 lain.
Nak pedas lg, tambah lagi cili kering. For me, this one dah cukup pedasnya.

Topping:
1 bungkus daging cincang digoreng dgn sedit minyak & lada hitam hingga masak
Grated cheese
Any vegi: like cendawan, nenas, carrot ikut suka. I just use what I have in fridge: carrot.

Cara:
1. Sapukan sos piza atas doh.
2. Tabur daging cincang yg dh digoreng td
3. Tabur sayur-sayuran
4. Tabur cheese
5. Bakar dlm 15-20 min. Check noo jgn sampai hangus

2) Apple cinnamon souffle (sesuai for toodler)

2 biji epal hijau-dibuang kulit, potong dadu, masak dlm sket air & lenyek
1 sudu besar tepung gandum
3 biji putih telur
1/3 cup gula
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Sedikit icing sugar

Cara:
1. Pukul putih telur sampai menghasilkan buih putih
2. Masukkan gula & pukul lg
3. Masukkan epal lenyek, tepung & sedikit cinnamon
4. Gaul sebati
5. Sapu sooufle dish dgn sedikit butter & dust with bit of icing sugar
6. Masuk sume bhn2 td & bakar selama 20 - 25 min
7. Bila dh masak, campur sket cinnamon + icing sugar & sprinkle over souffle.

Last week I also did try Fried Wantan as inspired by Ummimon. I didn't follow her recipe 100% as most of the item is out of stock. What missing in my recipe: daun sup & udang.

Susu lemak manis..santan kelapa muda

Bulan lepas aku sibuk sangat sampai kurang memerah di waktu pejabat. Akibatnya, susu mulai kurang. Jadi supply susu ke rumah babysitter pon kurang atau kadang-kadang langsung tiada. Susah hati dibuatnya. Sibukla aku tanya beberapa kenalan & surf di Internet cara-cara nak tambah susu.

Hasil penyelidikan, boleh tambah susu guna pil: Maxalon atau Fenugreek. Bila tanya kat farmasi, kebanyakkan tak jual, kalau ada pon kene order dulu. Kebetulan jumpa Esah kat kenduri Shaz,katanya boleh ambil pil tambah susu drp Auntinya & at the same time Dr aku masa deliver Mawaddah kat Naluri Wangsa Maju.

Kebetulan, last week kami balik Kg Negeri 9. Bila uwan sebut psl jantung pisang, aku teringat cara tradisional tambah susu. So, aku beli & ambik jugak jantung pisang kat Kg. Last week, lepas aku makan 3 kali jantung pisang/week, hasilnya amat memberangsangkan!! Susu kembali banyak macam masa dlm pantang dulu! Kalau lambat perah, aduh sakitnya. Alhamdulillah. Tanpa guna ubatan lain, hanya minum air selalu & jaga pemakanan, susu kembali banyak seperti dulu.

So, ini aje tips menyusu kali ini ok. Selamat meneruskan penyusuan badan kepada semua ibu-ibu bekerja yang masih menyusu. Berbaloi!!

Alang-alang citer menyusu ni, nk citer sket kisah sedih aku 2 hari lepas. Minggu ni susu dah banyak, so pada pagi rabu lepas dgn excitednye aku pack all susu dalam 1 beg kertas. Aku masukkan dalam kete utk kasi kat babysitter. Sampai je parking kat ofis, aku nak amik beg aku, then baru le perasan all susu aku bawa sekali. Aduih…..sedih bangat..tak bersemangat aku kerja hari tu!!! Hmm..tragedy ni maybe tak sedih bagi Abg, coz bila aku sedar je susu tu dlm kete, orang pertama aku call is my lovely Abg. Apa jawabnya: ‘ala takpela..mawaddah leh minum susu tepung hari ni’. Tapi aku tetap sedih! Skeptikal btol ek.

Terasa amat malas bengat nak update blog. Dah masuk Feb ni.
Let’s summarize January event sket.

Work
Majority of the colleague moved to V***. Now I have less Kroni. The past 2 weeks was very hectic. I’ll be at home almost/after maghrib. Abg will fetch up the kids as our daily KPI is to fetch kids at least by 7pm daily. For Jan, no leave taken even I applied one day.

Education
I bought 2 educational CD for kids. The kids really enjoy the CD and they will play it several times in a day. Some of the CD song: Bismillah, Alhamdullilah, A way of life. As for me, I bought 1 new book title "Bread making by machine or hand" and one new shirt. The book price is RM80, quite expensive but I've fallen in love when the first time read it.

Hobby
For Jan, I tried only 2 new recipes: Choc Cake without butter and Sotong goreng bertepung.
As for curtain sewing project, the progress was very slow. I only managed complete 2 day curtains for the 2 upstairs rooms. Macam2 dugaan. Tersilap jahit la, tersenget la .. alahai kene bukak palik. Already borrowed Curtain sewing book from Ummimon. Memang teruja, tapi nampak leceh gak.

Visit
Managed to attend one relative wedding in Shah Alam, one ex-neighbour delivered 3rd kid in Shah Alam, balik kampung Negeri sembilan, ziarah makcik di Ampang and ziarah kubur arwah Ayoi. Alhamdulillah

Abang
Abg went for outstation 3 times this Jan.

Breastfeeding
I've started pumping only 1 time in a day dek bz bangat di ofis. This Feb need to pump twice/day to stimulate back more milk. I already bought new spare parts from Kinderjik. So the pump looks so new. No yellowish colour anymore. ehehhe

Aku masih di tempat yang sama. Yang berbeza hanya jawatan dan tanggungjawab. Masa untuk aktiviti lain ( seperti Blog?? :p) terasa amat terhad.

1) Selamat Hari Jadi yang Ke 29 untuk Arwah Abang Ayoi pada semalam, 17 Januari 2007. Abang, sudah lebih 4 tahun meninggalkan kami, namun ingatan terhadapmu takkan dapat aku lupakan hingga akhir hayat. Moga Abang Ayoi ditempatkan di tempat orang-orang yang beriman. Insyallah, jika panjang umur kami pasti menziarahi pusaramu Sabtu ini ;)

2) Selamat Menyambut Ulangtahun Perkahwinan yang ke 4 buat kami berdua ;) Moga dilimpahi keberkatan dan keredhaan dari Allah. Moga ditambah iman berkekalan. Sayang selalu

Nota tambahan: Urusan refinance rumah, renovation rumah & pengeluaran $$ KWSP tergendala sebentar. Cuti juga tergendala. Yang tak tergendala hanya projek menjahit langsir & eksperimen resipi yang berjalan setiap hari Sabtu & Ahad

Yesterday, I able to accomplish these missions:

1) Went to Ceramic World Showroom. Managed to get the code for the tiles of my interest.

2) Went to Kedai Perabot Selayang & Perabot Jatimas. Tak beli apa just cuci mata

3) Nagoya, Wangsa Maju. Aku dah belanja lebih kurang RM300 untuk 3 major items: day curtain RM12.80/metre (for living room), night curtain RM3.80/metre (for upstairs areas) and kitchen curtain (RM7/metre). Night curtain for living room will be bought later using next year budget.

4) Carrefour. Beli household items biasa

Unable to go: Kitchen cabinet shop. Reason: the address’s shop left at home.

Next action plan:

1) Abang to contact the contractor to get quotation

2) We have to go few Kitchen Cabinet shops around Kepong

3) I want to find a ’Sewing curtain’ book just to have more ideas.

4) I need to get ready all documents needed for refinancing of our house to TM loan. Also, to contact the legal co. and fill up all required forms. Any friend who know any good lawyer?

Macam-macam bermain di fikiran. Berapa banyak ongkos diperlukan ek? Kalau budget cukup we all also want to renovate entrance grill & sliding door dan juga tambah awning.

Banana and oat crumble muffin

Ingre:
2 cups self - raising flour
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
75 gm butter, melted and cooled
1 cup mashed banana
3 tablespoons rolled oat (optional)

1. Sift the flour into a bowl and stir in castor sugar. Make a well in the center.
2. Put the milk, egg, and vanilla in a jug, whisk and pour into the center.
3. Add butter and banana. Fold until combined. Pour into muffin hole.
4. Sprinkle the crumble on top of the batter before baking.
5. Bake for 15-2o min - 180 deg.

The crumbles:

5 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup rolled oat
40 gm butter, chopped

Put the flour, sugar and oat in a bowl. Rub the butter in with fingertips.

You may replace the crumble with choc chips- the easiest way. I see the muffin more exciting when I use crumble.
I like to put oat in my muffin or bread recipe to enhance it nutrient.

4 days and 3 nights in Cherating

I was away from the office for 2 days, attending a meeting in Impiana Cherating replacing my boss. As usual, I always brought along the whole family. But this time, the whether was not so good. It's raining all the way to Cherating. As all know, flood happened in few places including Pahang. Holiday for the kids seem so dull, nothing exciting. The 1st day was spent in the resort's room only. It was raining for the whole day. We can only have goo time on the second day. We walked around the resort and along the seaside. Mus'ab did get chance terjun swimming pool but not so long. He felt cold easily maybe sebab lemak kurang. The only things that we could buy for family were keropok lekor, keropok kering & ikan masin only. We even didn't find any shop that sell clothes for kids. Lagipun tak sempat nak cari. We came home on Saturday after the meeting end on the afternoon. Initially, I planned to have one more night stay in any part of Terengganu. But due to the bad whether, we have to cancel the plan. Nonetheless, we managed to get some pics. See more here!!

Tomorrow, I'm not going to office. Just spent one day leave to fulfill few missions. My missions tomorrow:
1) Go to kitchen cabinet shop. To get quotation and proposed design plan.
2) Next to go Ceramic World Showroom, Selayang. To get idea on which colour and tiles to use for our kitchen.
3) Lastly, to go Nagoya KL. To buy day curtains for our house. Raya is still far but I have to buy it early as my plan to sew it myself. I can imagine that it's gonna take very long time to finish it because of these obvious interruptions: kids, housekeeping works and baking activities.

Joy of Baking

Yahoo..we are now connecting to our Broadband installed on last Friday. Finally we got it after waiting for more than 3 years.
For the last 2 consecutives weekends I did tried my home made bread. The result was so satisfactory, so I would like to share the recipe here. Thanks a lot to my Indesit Oven for realizing my dream!! eheh

Making bread was so easy peasy. But to get the output is quite long. Approximate time duration will take around 3-5 hours. This is beacuse we have to knead the dough, then to rest it, then to shape it, rest it and finally bake it.

First bread is Chealsea Bun.
The ingre:
-500 gm high protein flour/bread flour
- 80 gm caster sugar
- 200 gm butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet instant yeast ( I always Mauripan)
- 250 ml milk ( I always used water + milk powder that already available)
- 1 tea spoon salt
For the fillling (mix together):
- 50 gm butter, melted
- 200 gm dried mixed fruits/ raisins
- 100 gm brown sugar
- honey for glazing
Steps:
1- Add yeast to milk, allow to dissolve. Add this mixture to all other ingredients.
2- Knead the dough for 10-15 min. I use my hand to knead it. Set aside for 10 min.
3- Then knead again for 10 - 15 min. Set aside again for 10 min.
4- Roll out dough on lightly floured surface into rectangular shape about 5 mm thick.
5- Spread melted butter. I used brush. Then spronklr the brown sugar followed by the fried fruits.
6- Roll up dought to form a long log. Cuto to 1 inch thick slices and place on the greased baking tray. Cover the bun and rest it for 1 hour.
7- Remove the cover and bake for 16 min at 190 deg. Brush lightly with honey before serving.


2nd recipe is DmnFarra's family's favorite bun, my own recipe to cater the kid's appetite. Really thanks to The Fresh Loaf for inspiring the recipe for me. Since today is my first day of working as I have been away from office for 1 week, attending the Lead Auditor Course, so will share the recipe later ok.

We had a lot of ripe banana that Abah took from Kg Perak. Bored of eating Cekodok Pisang so, yesterday, I baked Banana & Oat Crumble Muffin. Will post the recipe later ok.

My late update for this week:

I turned 26 years old 2 days ago. I was not in the office when the present from Abang arrived. Abang surprised me with the present, a bouquet of roses. Thanks Abang for the lovely gift.

Umur makin bertambah. Aku mengingatkan diriku, amalam perlu ditambah, ilmu masih banyak perlu di cari, hubungan sirraturahim mesti sentiasa perlu dijaga, anak-anak perlu dijaga dan dididik menjadi insan berguna, peranan sebagai isteri juga perlu diperbaiki selalu.

Yesterday, the officemate and my boss surprised me with a small birthday party. And today, I treat my officemates with my Cream O Cheesecake.

I have started my hobby again. Baking, cooking and eating!! Last weekend I did my first bread, Chelsea Bun. It taste good and the recipe was so simple. I thought I can upload the picture here but actually Abang did not transfer it in my thumb drive. So, will upload the pic later ok.

Then, on Tuesday, I did New York Cheesecake, sold to Abang’s office. Now, I’m trying to get contract of ‘Cake Supplier’ to Abang office. And on Wednesday, I baked the Cream O Cheesecake.

The outstanding output for my self this week was, Chelsea Bun, 2 Cheesecakes and Zero NCR for the audit.

Next week, I will be attending the Lead Auditor Course for 1 week in Residence Hotel. Hope will pass the course successfully.

1) Halal Haram – very good book for all Muslim. With this book, we can actually know which food that should not be avoided.
2) Pelik Tapi benar Dalam Solat- panduan solat dalam keadaan tertentu seperti Solat sambil dukung anak dsb.
3) Soal Jawab remeh temeh tentang Solat – banyak soalan-soalan remeh yang orang malu nak bertanya tapi dah ada jawapan dalam buku ni.

Baby Food

A friend, also a new father asked me how do I prepare home made baby food.
Its so simple actually. Let me give one example.

Breakfast: Apple puree

Ingredient: Apple & water
Steps:
1. Peel, core and cut a small apple into small dice
2. Bring water to a boil. Add apple and simmer covered, until apples are soft.
3. Be sure to stir
4. Reserve any left over water to use for pureeing it. I use blender for the easiest way.

5. Divide into small cubes. I use microwave and freezer safe container. The small size.

after blend

6. Let it cool before you can transfer to the fridge/freezer.

Other than apple, I also use Pear or Potato
Lunch & dinner: Chicken Puree With Carrots & Potato
Ingredient: Small onion, chicken, carrot, potato & water

Steps:
1. Cut small onion, chicken, carrot, potato into small pieces
2. Bring water to a boil. Add chicken first, followed by other items.
3. Stir frequently until all cooked and tender.
4. Puree in a blender.

Other menu: Barley puree, brown rice cereal + carrots& potato

Some tips from the experts:

Refrigerator Storage of Fruit PureesIt is recommended that fresh pureed homemade baby food be stored no longer than 48 hours (many food safety authorities say that 72 hour is fine!) in the refrigerator. This limit ensures that bacteria growth in the puree is kept to a minimum and that the food does not take on the "taste of the fridge"! This "rule" applies for veggies, fruits, meats etc.

One for sure, homemade baby food can be frozen. I only cook once or twice a week for the baby.

Please keep in mind that you should not feed your baby from the container and then re-store. Saliva may contaminate the food and bacteria may evolve. Always take the portions you will serve from the container and transfer to a feeding bowl.

How to thaw You may place the container in hot water OR
Heat it up using microwave oven. Set the lower power level. I always used power level 30.

Home made baby food is easy to prepare, healthy for baby, reduce our expenses & increase our ‘Mawaddah’ aka kasih sayang

Walaupun agak sedikit kelam kabut insyallah tahun depan cuba buat lebih baik & harapannya mungkin lebih cerah sebab si kecik dah setahun lebih, dah pandai jalan. Kami menerima tetamu sehingga 10 malam. Memang letih, tetapi hasilnya amat memuaskan hati. Seronok dapat berjumpa rakan taulan yang ada antaranya sangat jarang dapat bertemu.

Hari ini, kerja seperti biasa. Cuti tak dapat sepanjang bulan Nov. Jadi, suami cuti dan dapatlah membantu cucu pinggan mangkuk di rumah. Syukur dapat suami ringan tulang. As usual, sekeping gambar pon kami tak tangkap. Memang malas nak tangkap. Cukupla kenangan semalam terukir di kotak memori dalam diri ini.

Im so upset. Frustrating cannot follow my husband to Teluk Batik, Ive started to fulfill my time with not so beneficial activity. First is finding new skin for my blog. Here it’s Choc Life!!!
Actually, I’ve finished all my works last week. I was so efficient for the whole one week hoping that Boss will approve my leaves. Unfortunately, I have to work this week and no one is allowed to take leave after we’ve finished the SIRIM audit this coming 27 Nov.
Sdey beb. Cuti banyak lagi. So pity to huby coz every staff go there with their family. Huby alone driving from KL to Teluk Batik with all the PCs.

Last Saturday, we went my officemate’s house, Sarah. Then, to Master of Mgt gathering at Pelita Nasi Kandar, near KLCC. So frustrated, only 4 of friends turn up. We waited quite long minutes, having chit chat and the the tarik kow kow. After magrib, back off as we cannot wait more longer. On the way home, we stopped at Carrefour to buy few household items. Basically, all for the kids like diapers, milk and a gift for Mawaddah, a walker. Why we buy walker this time? Because Mawaddah suka sangat menyusur ke dapur to find her mom. Habis satu baju kotor dek habuk & all stuffs on the floor. So, now at least can keep her clothes cleaner than before. She also can moved around chasing her Bro Musab riding bicycle in the house. End up, Ayah can enjoy reading papers and Mama can enjoy clean up house or cooking something in kitchen.

Yesterday, Sunday, we went to Safurah & Halim house. So nice meeting with all friends while having the delicious makanan raya. Masyallah makanan sume sedap-sedap. Today, kene insaf balik. Hubby left house abound 4.30pm. Cam biasa, Musab menjerit nak ikut. Tapi lepas tu bila dah start main ngan Adiknya dah tak kesah pulak.
After Asar, we went to the babysitter’s open house, Kak Azmah. Barula dapat pelunag nak berborak-borak walaupun everyday jumpa.

Alhamdulillah sillaturrahim terjalin sesama rakan taulan dengan menghadiri 5 majlis jamuan makan raya minggu lepas.

Minggu lepas, aku ambil 2 hari UL. Hari pertama menjaga anak bujang yang demam. Hari kedua pulak, si adik berjangkit selsema dari abangnya. Mulalah badan start panas.
Alhamdulillah Jumaat pagi dah recover tapi selsema dan batuk masih belum OK.

Minggu pertama raya dah mula sibuk beraya di KL. Sabtu, kami ke rumah my ex-boss yang dah VSS. Ahad, tidak pula kemana kerana sibuk di rumah emak membantu masak-memasak kerana emak ingin menjamu rakan-rakan ofis. Emak akan mula pencen bulan Disember ini, so dia ingin ambil peluang jamu raya rakan-rakannya. Nasib baik sepanjang proses memasak anak daraku behave aje dengan ayahnya.

Aku dah apply 3 hari cuti minggu depan. Plan nak ikut Huby outstation ke Teluk Batik, Lumut. Tapi masih pending dek Bos belum luluskan. Harap sangat diluluskan. Minggu ni aku keje memang efficient. Nak siapkan sume keje before dateline & nak kawtim Boss luluskan cuti. J

Opps lagi satu insyallah hari Sabtu ni nak berjalan raya ke open house officemate di UK.
Malam ni pulak nak buat kek coklat untuk Huby bawa ke ofis jamuan rayanya.

Raya kami

Memula masuk ofis semalam, bos jumpa aku. Dia tanya pasal outstation our team. She’s so kind & understanding. Dia kata aku tak perlu pergi & dah gantikan dengan orang lain. Kesian sebab setiap kali outstation kene huby kene ikut & amik cuti.

Orang kata, sekarang dah kene mula ajar anak dara aku minum susu dalam botol waktu malam. So, kalau outstation dah bolehla tinggal ngan hubby. So, last 2 nights kami dah start ajar. Mawaddah sungguh kuat semangat. Susu dari botol langsung takmo minum. Bayangkan dia tak minum selama 8 jam. Dari petang sampai kui 12 tgh malam. Kesian sangat. Menagis jek masa sorong botol dalam mulut. Kami sume tido lewat sebab nak pujuk dia minum susu. Akhirnya, kami tewas jua sebab dah tak larat nak berjaga. Esoknya perlu gi kerja. So, terpaksa juga kasi susu badan. In total, 3 botol susu badan on Sunday buand aje dalam sinki. Sedih btol. Mus’ab la ni mmg dah takmo susu badan aku. Dia kata adik punya. Tatau la cemane nak ajor dia nyusu botol malam2.

Cerita raya kami. Alhamdulillah semuanya berjalan lancar. Memula beraya di Negeri Sembilan, kemudian singgah di Kuala Kangsar and last skali ke Kulim. Kami balik ke KL on Saturday. Then, on Sunday, kami dah beraya di 3 rumah kawan. 2 rumah my best friends : Yana & Ogy. 1 rumah hubby’s friend: Faris Rosuli. Faris menyampaikan salam kepada kawan-kawan MMU yang mengenali dia melalui kami. Bukan apa, dia kata cukup susah untuk dia ketemu kawan-kawan yang lain.

Untuk diri sendiri aku nak pesan: Bila nak start Puasa Enam ni?? Ya Allah, jauhkanlah kemalasan dalam diriku ini. Harap dapat mula berpuasa esok.

Alhamdulillah. Berita yang agak menyenangkan hati akhirnya dapat jua hari ini.

Insyallah rumah kami sentiasa terbuka mulai minggu ke 3 raya. Minggu pertama off to kampung. Minggu kedua off for outstation. (and again??!). So, kalau lalu kepong jangan lupa singgah rumah ok. 1) Esok (Jumaat)-dah start cuti. Pagi buat 1 kuih raya. Lepas tu gi shopping baju anak2 kat Jusco. Guna voucher RM100 redeem from Maybank. Best best.
2) Sabtu- Mama buat 3 kek coklat customer order. Ayah sambung keje mengecat. Selain tu, basuh langsir & sume cadar. Then pakai langsir yang sama gak. Tahun depan baru nak wat langsir. Tahun ni tade budget.
3) Ahad-Mama buat topping kek ceklat. Customer nak amik petang kot. Ayah sambung keje cat lagi. Mama kemas umah part2 lain. All last minutes. Then kene pack sume barang nak balik kg.
4) Isnin- Insyallah dalam kui 9am bergerak ke Kg Kuala Pilah
5) Rabu- Pagi gerak balik ke KL. Petang gerak balik ke Kg Kulim
6) Sabtu- Balik ke KL

The last time I went for interview is almost 4 years ago..and yesterday, again, I was interviewed for applying job in TM..huhu..quite tough beb. Lagipun competitors ramai nak rebut position di HQ tu. Apapun semuanya diserahkan pada Allah. Jika tak berjaya , Aku redha. As for now, I need job. So, that’s no reason I should not sign the offer letter from V*** by this coming Friday. Kene jual beb. Today, there’s another picket again. Just wait.

Jom cerita psl ovenku sket. My lovely Oven has been used almost everyday….buat ikan cencaru baker, bread & butter pudding, baked corn, kuih raya..macam2 la..pendek kata bil bulan ni mmg naik sket la kot. Bak kat suami

Cuti raya pon dah apply. Tapi baju anak2 belum beli lagi. So, this Friday kita shopping raya!! :D
Opps..lupa nak citer. My handphone, which I used since Uni time was kong. The handphone lifetime= 4 years + 2 months. Then, hubby did present me a new hanphone as it’s so hard for us interacting when we miss each other. Muahahaha. Love u Bee.

Yihaa

This is the truly ‘gift of the year’ for my self. It’s not a dream!! Yesterday, I bought my desired dream..berbulan dah tangguh beb.. not a car, not a handphone, not cosmetic items, not even a fabulous raya dress.

It’s a built oven & mixer. Yeyeh..duit keluar banyak. Rasanya inilah pembelian terhebat dan yang paling berani pernah aku leburkan.

Yesterday also managed baking one biskut rayaà cornflakes rocher. Easy and yet yummy. This week another biscuit: cornflakes swivel.

Excited sungguh nak masak itula inilah..actually sejak start puasa, kami tak pernah lagi kasi apa2 hidangan berbuka utk jiran sebelah. Teruk kan?? Sebabnya kalau buat kuih pon yg sempoi jek..sket plak tu. So this week plan nak wat lbeh sket la kuihnya. Insyallah sabtu nak wat cream puff, ahad nak wat bread pudding. Berangan btol.

Oven letak sebelah peti sejuk sebab tade cabinet lagi. So, next dream to realize is renovate kitchen. 3 tahun lagi kot.Hehe . Nampak tak jelas sgt eh. Gambo dr Internet ni jelas sket.

Alhamdulillah …semuanya dipermudahkan olehNYA

Hari ini dah mula bekerja. Kerja di Penang selesai pada hari Rabu petang. Then, kami bermalam di Kg Kulim. Dan semalam baru bergerak pulang ke KL.

Kali ini outstation lebih meriah tapi mencabar. Sebabnya:

1. Aku bawa seluruh keluarga: suami, Mus’ab dan Mawaddah.  


2. Bermusafir semasa berpuasa. At the same time, baby asyik menyusu. Mamanya dahaga sungguh!


3. Dato CEO turun melawat CC Penang & berbuka bersama staff


4. Kali pertama masuk bengunan KOMTAR. First day dah sesat nak cari entrance lift.


5. Dapat naik feri. Dukung baby & berdiri di depan pintu feri sambil ditiup angin laut..ala-ala Titanic gitu


6. Mawaddah langsung takmo susu lembu. Huhu..ltey betol ayahnya jaga kat hotel. Gantinya, kene bagi banyak cereal.

Lagi meriah bila dapat surat offer ke VADS. Nak masuk ke tidak beb??? Sila beri jawapan sebelum 20 Oktober 06. Huhu

Ramadhan Tears

My outstation schedule next week:
Sunday: Traveling day
Monday: Taiping
Tuesday – Friday: Penang
Friday night: Travel back to KL

I really want to try cry! Outstation schedule changed again. I’ll away from KL for one week.

BIG DILEMA whether to bring the baby along or not?

Knape perlu bawa?
1) Mawaddah menyusu badan.
2) Bulan puasa ni, susu semakin kurang, so kalau bawa mawaddah, malam2 at least ada baby menyusu & as long as ada stimulation, insyallah susu won’t stop. Kalau aku pergi sorang, confirm la malam-malam takkan bangun memerah.
3) Mawaddah tak pernah tidur dengan orang lain
4) Mawaddah akan menangis bila orang lain yang jaga termasuk uwan & atok kl.

5) Takut mawaddah ngamuk malam2 coz tek Mama tade ngan dia

Drawbacks kalau bawa:
1) Husband kene amik cuti seminggu.
2) Husband need to let go his outstation to Kuantan for 2 days and one night
3) Husband kene jaga dua-dua anak. Kesian, malam-malam kene bangun buat susu untuk Mawaddah. Kesian, tak dapat bersolat ke masjid. Kesian, kene makan nasi bungkus. Kesian, kene cuci baju anak2

Drawbacks kalau tak bawa:
1) Aku sunyi dan terlalu rindukan anak-anak & suami.
2) Asyik teringat anak. Tak boleh concentrate kerja & driving. Bahaya ni!
3) Susu badan mungkin boleh stop due to no stimulation on nights. Mawaddah keliru putting. Ee takut. Kalau jadi gini confirm my goal to breastfeed her until 2 years old takkan achieve!

Air mata dah bercucuran sambil menaip ni. Ya Allah, berilah kekuatan & penyelesaian

Ramadhanku

Alahai lama btol tak update Blog! Hari ni berkesempatan nak update jap coz tgh lepak kat ofis suami menunggu training bermula di Corus Hotel, Jalan Ampang jam 8.30am.

Alhamdulillah, hari ini masuk hari ke empat kita berpuasa.
Sahur macam biasa kami lewatkan seperti yang disarankan. Bagun pagi, lebih kurang jam 5.10am. Panaskan makanan dengan microwave oven. Selesai makan biasanya kui 5.30am.
1 Ramadahan
Sahur- Nugget ayam
Berbuka-Ikan cencaru sumbat sambal + sayur + bubur kacang hijau. All homemade

2 Ramadhan
Sahur- Lauk berbuka 1 Ramadhan
Berbuka – Kari kepala ikan + sayur + cucur jagung. All homemade

3 Ramadhan
Sahur- Macam biasa lauk berbuka 2 Ramadhan
Berbuka- Ikan kembung masak kicap + sayur + kuih + roti john – the last 2 items beli kat bazaar Ramadhan.

Dah 3 hari berbuka dengan ikan. Petang ni plan nak masak ayam ala KFC. Pemanis mulutnya-bubur kacang hijau 1 Ramadhan yg lebih & dah masuk freezer. Sungguh mudah lagi menjimatkan.

Yang very challegingnya tahun ini, setiap kali hendak bangun sahur Mawaddah pasti bangun sekali sebab mulut dah tak lekat kat tek. Cik abang jugak yg kene panaskan lauk2 and prepare the food. Sabo je la.

Lagi satu, masa tengah syok bersolat terawih solo di rumah (alahai dah bertahun tak dapat bersolat penuh di masjid), Mawaddah mesti bangun & merengek. So, aku have to sop kejap & nyusukan dia kejap. Then sambung balik solat. Badan mmg rasa letih btol.

Yang pastinya, puasa kali milk supply extremely dropped ac compared before. Aku puasa, so mungkin air dalam badan kurang. Everyday hanya boleh supply Mawaddah 2 botol susu badan saje kat pengasuh. Selebihnya terpaksala jadi anak lembu.

Pening memikirkan hal minggu depan. Tatau nak letak anak2 kat mana because next, hubby and me kene pi outstation. Alahai susah. Perlukah putuskan susu badan dengan Mawaddah? 2 advisors (mak + pengasuh) suggest putuskan susu badan. Tapi aku tak sanggup. Dilema sungguh!

Gaban

Sibuk memang tahap gaban minggu ni. Kene kerja keras lebih sket lagipun dah bercuti seminggu. Cuti alhamdulillah. Memuaskan. Sepanjang cuti kami dapat menjenguk Ipoh, Sg Petani, Pendang dan Kulim. Yang lagi puas hati aku dapat meluangkan masa yang begitu berharga bersama anak-anak tersayang. Opss..also ngan suami. Cik abang selalu cakap , “ wah skang kalau balik awal mesti sebab ingat kat anak-anak, bukan ingat kat suami”. Tersenyum sendiri mendengar komen cenggitu. (

Si anak teruna dah masuk minggu ke2 cirit birit. Sekejap ok sekejap datang balik sakitnya. Dah la tak suka makan, alamatnya makin cengkeding la. Berat badan pulak hanya 10kg. Nak tak nak kami terpaksa juga kasi anak teruna minum susu Isomil walau . Kalau dia mengamuk. Kalau takmo minum Isomil, terpaksa kasi air masak. No Dugro at the moment!

Kisah anak dara..dah nak dekat masuk 6 bulan. Berat hampir 8kg. Actual 7.8kg. Alhamdulillah sihat sahaj anak dara ni walau kene suntikan imunisassi. Caranya senang je, sebelum pergi klinik kene kasi ubat demam. Makan pulak punyala selera. Sume yang dimasak mesti licin. Sebut aje menunya: apple puree, brown rice, broccoli puree, potato puree, barley puree, carrot puree. Sure licin. Mungkin betol orang kata kalau budak breastfed dia selera makan. Sebab dah biasa rasa susu ibu yang makan macam2 ( Sekarang dah pandai rolling kiri kanan, pusing 360 degrees. Bila pusing-pusing, boleh hampir terjatuh katil..kalau tak pon terperosok nak masuk bawah sofa. Minggu ni queen bad nak kene dismantle. Selamat la sket. Tak lama lagi merangkak la gamaknya sebab sekarang dada dah angkat tinggi masa meniarap.

Jadual next outstation dah keluar. Insyallah, will go to Utara plak kali ni for 4 days. Nak bawak si anak dara ke idak ek?

Cerita outstation

Actually I want to post on the 1st day at Kuching because we connecting to the Net for 24hrs for the 1st day. But the Net was so slow and the duration almost end. We pay RM15 for it because DH needs to prepare and submit his conference paper. I shall salute DH because he managed to finish the paper and at the same time managed to babysit Mawaddah.

Mawaddah & I flew with MAS while DH took AirAsia. I was accompanied by my officemate, Elis. Kesian Mawaddah, on the way to Kuching she was suffering a bad ‘mabuk kapal terbang’. Muntah banyak giler. Hmm nevertheless, my nursing top is quit helpful. Breastfeeding in front of public made easy!

Hotel?? Hmm..actually, we planned to stay at Harbor View, but the rooms were fully book. So, we stayed at Merdeka Palace, Kuching. This is 5 star hotel. But we only book the Standard Room which cost RM166 inclusive breakfast for 2. The room is actually the smallest which I ever stayed before. We can’t choose Deluxe or Superior because it cost more than I’m eligible. Huh! Horror la coz the we got parking room’s view. Then, we have some Mystery experience there. Ada sket “gangguan halus” kat situ. Tapi malas nak citer kat sini. Hehehe.

Time passed very fast. Actually, we didn’t enjoy the outstation very much. This is because I was too busy with the audit program. The audit was so tiring. Almost everyday we were back to hotel near 7pm. Then, DH & the baby just melepak kat hotel cause the haze at Kuching was very bad. Alhamdulillah, Mawaddah just have light cough & flu.

My last day at Kuching was terrible. My flight delayed for 3.5 hours. Because of haze & then because of rain. DH waited us at KLIA because AitAia flew on time. I was struggling to calm down the baby at Airport because there’s no comfortable place to rest her.

Cash outflow?? Not so much. We just bought tikar Sarawak 7 X 9 for RM240 (including postal fee), kek lapis Sarawak, one beg for myself and shirt for Mus’ab.

Have to stop writing now. Will update more pics tomorrow!

Opps… about our Lead Auditor Course.The course postponed to another month cause our team have to finalize all ISO documentation by this week.

Buzy maa

Seriously, I’m damn busy since last week. Busy of attending SmartOrange course and preparing management report. I’ll be away from the office for 2 weeks ahead.

I’ll be having Audit @ Kuching Contact Center starting 14 till 18 Aug 06. I’ll fly on 13 Aug & will come back on 19 Aug. Bye bye Mus’ab. Take care baby. Don’t bully your atuk & wan ok. I just bring along the little princess and my hubby.

The next agenda, I’ll be attending the Lead Auditor Course at Putrajaya. Course will take 5 consecutive days: 21-25 Aug 06. Will seat for the exam on the final day. Some people said it though but I need to prepare and take the challenge. If succeed, then only I’m qualified to be an Auditor.

When you try, you learn something

I’ve started introduce solid food for the little cutie pie. I make my own homemade baby food. It was a very satisfying moment. But Mawaddah seems to eat very tiny amount. Rasanya tak lebih 5 kali sudu kecil. Tragik lagi, yang keluar dari mulut lagi banyak dari yang ditelan rasanya. Maybe she’s in the learning process. And as usual, the mummy needs to finish the balance. Oherwise: pembaziran!!

This is the menu already listed in my mind:
Last week menu: Brown rice porridge
This week menu: Apple puree
Next week menu: Potato puree

I’m gonna have dating with hubby this coming Wednesday. Sorry my dear kids. Mama cannot bring you all along. Mama nak shopping ngan Ayah sambil berpegangan tangan. Ihiks ;) This is the first time dating (only 2 of us) after having Mawaddah.

Our flight tickets and hotel booking to Kuching already in place. Harap semuanya berjalan lancar.

Alhamdulillah semua tips tersebut working. Milk supply increased. So, I have enough stock for daily and emergency use.

The past few days, I actually tried finding Fenugreek capsule. Few pharmacies didn’t sell it. But finally, only GNC sell it. But they said, kene order dulu & they can send to our doorstep. The price is RM59. Mahal jugak eh!? Kat Malaysia memang tak banyak jual coz no demand for that.
So irony, the Milkmaid tea (sejenis minuman herba) that I use to drink everyday actually has that item in its ingredients. Tapi biasalah, bila sibuk kita selalu lupa nak minum. Now, I’ve disciplined myself to drink it at least twice per day. Personally, I think the taste is not really good. Together of it, I use to drink Horlicks everyday as substitute to Milo. Dr said Milo could increase my sugar level in blood. I know this when I did the blood test last week.

Mawaddah berumur 4 bulan semalam. Happy birthday dear! I’ve not started any solid food actually. Instead, I give air kanji. Aku baru tahu pasal air kanji ni benornya from my officemate. Memang air kanji ni menambah kekenyangannya dan tidur pertamanya agak lama dari biasa. Jadi bila tidur lama, dapat lagi satu perahan setiap malam sebelum melelapkan mata.

Bila Mama gembira, susu cukup..bila susu cukup, anak gembira..bila anak gembira, Mama puas hati & dapat memberi penuh konsentrasi pada kerja ;)

I’ve canceled the plan to upgrade my BP. I think my current Avent Isis is enough after reading view reviews and opinions from my friends.

Lately, I could realize that my milk supply slightly drop than before. Stock at home also becomes lesser. Maybe because I was too stress with jam and lot of housework matters!

Other mom comment:
Or are you too stressful? Babies
are smart. They can sense your feeling. So, when you feed her, try to relax,
enjoy your bundle of joy.

I should try not to be so stressful. Now I read other moms experiences from few useful websites to get useful tips to increase the milk supply.

Here are the tips!

• Eat Fenugreek seeds capsule from Nature Farm – will find it by today


• Drinks lot of lukewarm water


• Drink hot milk half hour before pumping


• Do a good massage before expressing to clear any blocked ducts


• Drink soup made with papaya or threadfin fish. -> apa benda ni? Any idea?


• Eat more fish, in sum: eat fish like a cat!! ( sat gi nak makan 2 ekor ikan bleh tak?


• Pump every 2-3 hourly for about a week everyday( seem cannot be done at office (

I’ve contacted the sole distributor kat Malaysia (kinderjik) yesterday, they said tade sorang pon penjual yang nak amik coz the price is too expensive: RM1800. Kalau nak beli boleh dapatkan terus dr ofis depa kat Sri Hartamas.
Sket review psl kinderjik tu, customer service dia langsung tak bagus. Macam takmo layan je & langsung tak friendly.

Kelebihan: ada semua kelebihan ie: double pumping function, very efficient, effortless, looking good bag (cam bawak laptop) etc . Pendek kata mmg sesuai sangat ngan busy mom. Very value for money. In fact, I’ve interviewed one friend that used this pump for her 2nd child.

Kekurangan: Tak jumpa lagi. Most users say it’s really value for money. And price is not a matter. Kuang kuang. Aku masih belum terfikir lagi nak beli this brand. Berkira jugak yer??!! Tapi kalau fikir balik, kalau nak anak lagi 2 3 orang atau lebih ( erkk???) baik beli yang ini la.

Baru nak post dalam blog, Rita called me just now. I did asked few questions yang asyik bermain kat kapla ni psl double pump tu ie:
1) Cemana cara nak handle?
2) Baju apa yang sesuai nak pakai ke ofis?

Alhamdulillah semuanya Rita dah explain. Now I’m so clear & tak teragak to upgrade my single BP to double BP. Dia pon memula beli single pump masa anak pertama. But then bila anak kedua terus upgrade double pumping. Dia kata few friends of her pon cenggitu jugak. In summary, double pump memang very efficient & very useful especially to bz working Moms like us. Huhu Bzkah aku?

FIFA Italia

Last week we did survey at few electrical shops to buy the oven. But end up, we bought new fridge. Yeah right, we don’t have that item in our wish list actually. Coincidently, the fridge breakdown when we were aiming for an oven. We spent RM1250 for a 390L Toshiba fridge. Other than fridge, another preparation for Mawaddah is the baby food container. I have bought new Moms collection from MomsLittleOnes. Other item bought were 2 books, one of them is “Menyusu si permata hati”, babyfood container & milkmaid tea.

I’ve finished reading this book “Menyusu si permata hati”. Very informative & became my motivator to continue breastfed Mawaddah exclusively. All mums & mums to be should read it. Sesiapa nak pinjam, bagitau ok.

Last Sunday, I was too emotional. Agaknya sebab penat sangat.Stress melihat terlalu banyak kerja-kerja rumah yg masih terbengkalai. Malam macam biasa tidur tak sesempurna dulu. Badan asyik bergerak aktif. Sabtu & Ahad memang tak berehat. Ayik membuat kerja-kerja rumah dan seringkali juga terganggu sedikit agenda kerja kerana menyusukan si permata hati. Si permata hati nampaknya makin kuat minum. Yelah makin membesar. In between, terpaksa juga curi masa untuk mengumpul stok susu agar cukup one week supply. Dek penat sangat, aku tak tahan sampai terus mengalirkan air mata. Lepas menangis lega rasanya. Aku dah bagitau emak, kalau ade orang boleh tolong kemas rumah hujun minggu, aku rasa nak upah. Bolehla upah kerja-kerja yang agak berat seperti mop lantai atas bawah & cuci semua bilik air.

Lepas membaca buku “Menyusu si permata hati” & stress dengan kerja-kerja rumah, aku terfikir macam nak beli breast pump yang lebih efficient. Boleh dapat banyak stok dalam tempoh masa yang singkat. Aku rasa macam nak guna pump yang ada function double pumping. Seorang kenalan recommend Medela pump in style traveler. Dia kata memang efficient. Tapi the price is too high. Dia kata senang la untuk bawak ke hulu ke hilir sebab beg dia ok. Lagipun, aku dah nak start round2 Malaysia tak lama lagi. Kalau sesapa yang nak let go breast pump, boleh la jual kat aku eh.

Oven VS Peti Sejuk

Semalam, masa jemput Mawaddah di rumah pengasuh, dia kata Mawaddah menangis hampir 2 jam sebelah petang. Me & hubby suspect yg dia sakit perut dek susu aku tu. Sebab bila kami sampai umah, peti sejuk belah bawah tak berapa sejuk. So, mesti susu tu dah rosak. Kesian Mawaddah. At the moment, we used the freezer part to store the milk.

So, sekarang ni nak beli yang mana dulu ek? Peti sejuk OR Oven?
For me both are equally important. But seem the Refrigerator is very urgent! We need it to store many items including the breast milk. In addition, next month I’ll start to introduce early solid food to Mawaddah. So that, we need good refrigerator to store my homemade baby food. Yelah, kali ni berazam nak kasi only homemade baby food. (berjaya ke idok yek?) So sume tools must get ready le. Emmm..kene sacrifice my dream oven ker niii? (

Last 2 days spent with information gathering on my dream oven. Both babies came along with us. Alhamdulillah, all of them behave very well. Mus’ab seem so curious and he has been discovering all types of electrical appliances. In total, we went to 8 shops!! Banyak beb. But yet to buy within this week.

Now, still doing the info gathering. But already have one in my mind. Brand Elba. From Internet, the price is RM2k, but yesterday the shop offered us RM1.5k only. Meaning that, need to top up another 500 + my $durian runtuh$ received last week. The sales man asked me “ cik mau guna untuk business ke untuk sendiri saja?” For me I want the oven to serve both purposes. Manela tahu nak buat part time business jual kek kan. Alah membeli, menang memakai. So we must find the best and good in quality for long term use. At least after survey has been made, I’ll satisfy.

Inilah bezanya aku dan suami. Bila dapat sket excess $$ from whatever means, what I have in my mind always goes to cooking tools!! Like oven, mixer, breadmaker, tart mould, pizza pan & etc. But hubby always looking forward for 1) Car! 2) Car! And Car!! Haha..everyweek he will study the car section in paper. For me, as long as the car can drive me to office & kg kulim. It’s ok. Kawan-kawan sume dah kete baru yer dok? But we still maintain our classic car. I love it because tak sakit kepala nak pikir hutang bulanan. So we can maximize savings. Target nak pi Haji secepat mungkin.

About the baby Mawaddah, she already turned 3 months 1.5 week ago. Now, she can rolls over from front to back. She also likes to babble whenever we were talking with her. She also likes to smile!

Durian Runtuh??!!

Dalam satu perbualan, Abah berkata aku beruntung kerana dapat suami yang bekeluarga besar. Yelah, aku berasal drp 3 orang adik –beradik. Dan sejak perginya Abang Sulung ke hadrat ilahi pada tahun pagi Jumaat, 27 Sya’ban 1424 ( 10 Okt 2002), kami tinggal 2 beradik. Suami pula mempunyai 9 adik-beradik. Bayangkan betapa meriahnya kalau dibandingkan dengan kami.

Tahun ini, keluarga sebelah aku dimeriahkan dengan kehadiran puteri kami, Nur Mawaddah. Bertambah meriah di sebelah suami dengan kehadiran 2 lagi cucu kesayangan. Sebulan setengah setelah Mawaddah dilahirkan, Kakak Ipar sulung melahirkan seorang putera, Mohd Zain Hidayat. Dan kelmarin, adik ipar selamat melahirkan juga seorang putera yang masih belum diberi nama secara rasminya. Tahniah buat Yati & Mie. Akhirnya selamat semua dilahirkan setelah overdue lebih seminggu. Tahun lepas keluarga pihak suami bertambah 2 orang cucu & tahun ini pula 3 orang cucu. Meriah kan? Total anak menakan=9 dalam tempoh 6 tahun. Tahun depan bakalnya ada lagi yang lahir. Yang pastinya bukan aku la! Ihiks :p

Nampaknya impian nak membeli my new gadget bakal terlaksana. Alhamdulillah, tengah kepingin nak new gadget, muncul pulak $durian runtuh$ semalam. So, now tgh survey which is the best brand, best quality & at the same time of course best price! Any idea?

Kes Ubat

Mawaddah dah berumur 3 bulan. Jadi, dah tiba masa untuk dapat suntikan imunisasi yg seterusnya. Asalnya kami nak pergi last Saturday but when we arrived the clinic, dah tutup pulak. Kemudian, kami ke klinik panel semula pada Ahad petang. Dr tak berikan suntikan sebab Mawaddah selsema. Dr periksa juga keadaan perutnya & dapati ada angi. Dr beri 2 jenis ubat for flu & colic. Lepas kasi ubat colic, baru kami perasan statement from the box “ not to be given for infants under 6 months”. Hai , takkan Dr tak perasan kot. Malam tersebut Mawaddah dek asyik bangun & merengek kalau tak dapat “toy” mama dia. Aku? Mmg letey giler dek asyik kene suakan toy dia.

Pagi kepala dah naik stress. Lepas je solat subuh dia dah start merengek. Bila peluk diam.  Kebetulan hari tu aku cuti. Jadi, dapatla jaga Mawaddah. Bila dah lama berpeluk, berdukung & berkasih dengan toy..aku dah tak larat, jadi cuba nak tidurkan dalam buaian. Bila masuk buaian dia mengamuk ntah apesal. Menjerit2 dalam tangisan. Cuba pula tidurkan atas tilam , pon mengamuk. Pendek kata, mmg dia menangis & mengamuk kalau terlepas dari genggaman Mamanya. Aku dah naik ltey. Semua benda dah tak dapat nak buat. Rumah mmg dah bersepah dek tak dapat nak kemas. Tangisannya yg luar biasa membuat aku bertambah risau. Mawaddah langsung tak tidur hari tu. Kronik betul. Hubby pon risau & terpaksa balik ke rumah. Petang tu kami terus ke klinik panel yg lain untuk minta pandangan Dr. Alhamdulillah, tiada demam, tiada sakit telingan, tiada sakit tekak. Cuma colic. Tu pon sebab banyak menangis. Terkejut juga bila Dr periksa rupa-rupanya Mawaddah dah dapat suntikan 3 bulan semasa dia berumur 2 bulan. Mistake again??? Whatever, the things dah lepas and everything is okay. Jadi 2 bulan ini tiada suntikan diperlukan.

Kami pasti Mawaddah meragam mungkin disebabkan ubat colic tu. Lepas balik klinik dia terus meragam sampai malam. Malam, aku cuba tidurkan di atas tilam. Bila aku alihkannya dari her toy tu, dia terus je terjaga & mengamuk. Ltey betul rasanya. Dan akhirnya lebih hampir 3 jam tempoh percubaan , misi menidurkannya berjaya. Bayangkan hari tersebut she woke up at 5.30am and sleep at 10pm. For me, it’s too cronic for a 3 months baby. The next day, alhamdulillah she already recovered and the babysitter said she could sleep during the day.

We as parents need to alert with all medicine given by Doctor. Kadang2 Dr sendiri tak perasan atau mmg kesilapan oleh pembantu klinik tu.

Great news! Outstation to Kuching is postponed to later date! Yahoo!

My flu is getting worse, hidung dah merah, hidung dah pedih. Tapi, paling kesian kat Mawaddah yang terpaksa merasa tempiasnya. Her flu also getting worse. Berjangkit daripada Mamanya. Abang Mus’ab pon dah merasa tempiasnya.

Emm, hubby masih belum mohon cuti seminggu. Tak pasti lulus ke idak..subject to boss approval. Alahai sape yg konfem nk ikut pi Kuching ni.

It has been a month since I’ve been start working. Alhamdulillah, Allah gave the chance for me to breastfeed Mawaddah exclusively even though I’m working. Current job is actually less hectic as before as we have 3 execs in the same unit. We help each other. I have time to express my BM. I took 3 times/day at the office.

About Mawaddah, she will turn 3 months tomorrow! I noticed that she love to suck her thumb. Always sucking her thumb whenever we put her lying on the bed. Mus’ab also seem more mature as time goes by. He will help buaikan her sister and also sing a song that I can’t understand. He also understands my instruction that could help me a lot. Eg: “Mus’ab, tolong amikkan bantal adik kat sana”. He will take the pillow and gave it to me. Mus’ab pon dah pandai ampaikan tuala dia & adik.

Nevertheless, he also likes to do several actions that could harm his sister. Whenever Mama & Ayah is not around, he will play kuda-kuda with Mawaddah. Bahaya beb! Ngan mama & ayah takpe la but not with adik! Since the incident, we have to be more alert. Hai..macam2 gelagat abang sorang ni. He also likes to hug Mawaddah. Bukannya pandai, tapi buat2 pandai. He also likes to share his food with Adik. Hish, adik tu kecil lagi , mana boleh makan. In return, he assumed Adik also like to share her food. What left in the bottle, Mus’ab will grasps and drink it. Amazing, he loves to drink my BM. Some people said, budak dah besar sket mana nak minum balik susu badan. Lagi2 dah bercerai lama. Sejak 4.5 months

I finally get the ad-hoc babysitter. Most eligible and trustworthy person, My Dearest Hubby!! He agreed to baby-sit our two kids during my outstation to Kuching.
Kesiannya abang kene jaga 2 kids at the hotel. Tak dapat nak bayangkan cemane.

Ad-hoc babysitter

Mengikut jadual, tugasan luar pejabat Mama Julai ini akan mengambil masa selama 7 hari. Mana mungkin Mama dapat tinggalkan Nur Mawaddah yang masih belum bercerai susu badan. Lagipun dia terlalu kecil untuk ditinggalkan. ( Julai nanti baru berusia 4 bulan).

Rasanya memang tiada cara lain. We need an ad-hoc babysitter to join Mama’s outstation at Kuching next month.

Bicara Ibu

Bercerita pasal Mawaddah, sekembali Mama dari ofis on last Friday, Mama dapati Mawaddah dah tak demam lagi. Tapi malamnya Mawaddah banyak kali bangun dan meragam. Pelik kami sbb bila rasa badannya dah tak panas.

Pagi Sabtu, semasa nak mandikannya, Mama perasan badan Mawaddah ada naik bintik2 merah..paling jelas sekali kat bahagian muka. Pelik lagi. Apa dah jadi ni? Takkan demam campak kot. For confirmation, kami pon segera ke klinik. Dr sahkan dia kene campak air @ measles Jadi, setiap kali mandi kami mandikan guna air daun semambu untuk hilangkan miang.

Ahad pagi, kami dapati the rash dah berkurangan. Pelik lagi. Takkan kejap sangat kene campak. Kami minta pendapat kakak ipar yang kebetulan datang menziarahi kami. Dia kata mungkin juga boleh jadi skin rash kerana kulit alah /bertindakbalas pada ubat. Yang pasti dia kelihatan semakin sihat dan siang harinya tak meragam pon.

Hari ini Mama minta juga Ayah amik UL untuk jaga Mawaddah. Biar anak Mama sihat betol2 baru leh pass kat babysitter. Tak sabar nak jumpa Mawaddah & Ayah petang ni. :) Thanks Ayah for taking care of our Mawaddah.

Lesson of the day:
Tiada yang lain boleh gantikan kebahagiaan & kegembiraan seorang ibu selain berada di sisi anak & suami tersayang ;)

Sayangku Mawaddah, semoga cepat sembuh

Maafkan mama sayang. Hari ini mama tak dapat nak temankan sayang. Bukan mama tak kesian kat sayang. Dan bukan mama tak mahu ambil cuti kecemasan lagi. Tapi mama perlu ke pejabat kerana ada laporan penting yang perlu dihantar ke pihak pengurusan. Mama tahu ini kali pertama sayang kene demam sejak dilahirkan. Mama harap sayang tabah. Mama memang nampak yang sayang tabah. Sayang tak banyak nangis, tapi nak banyak kali bertenggek kat ‘toy’ sayang tu. Mama harap sayang puas hati semalam sebab mama dapat temankan sayang yang demam. Nasib baik ada kawan yang boleh gantikan kerja mama semalam. Semoga anak mama cepat sembuh. Tak sabar nak jumpa sayang petang nanti.

3 days before the big brother's birthday

About the new babysitter, we haven’t found the better one. So, we have decided for not getting it. Hubby said the current sitter is OK actually, it’s only me that too worried. I think it’s normal kot..women are given 9 nafsu & 1 akal. That’s why we are usually emotional. I have to thanks my officemate who borrow me with this fantastic book title “ Jangan bersedih”. I just read about few pages since Monday but it really gives me peace and calmness. The book is quite thick. I already informed her that I’ll be taking quite long time to finish it since my time mostly spend with family especially the little baby. Hubby also enjoys reading it.

Expressing BM in the office so far not very challenging, as I don’t have to go outstation at the moment. So, the milk supply for the whole working day is still enough. I think my bosses understand and also support me. They said breastfed baby would have higher IQ & healthy body. I did ask their (small & big boss) permission to going home early last week, as I need to feed my baby when our monthly mgt meeting dragged until after office hour. The meeting was running till 8pm but I went home at 7pm. Luckily, that day I’ve left one bottle for any emergency case so that Hubby can feed the baby while waiting the mom to arrive. I think the room I used to express BM is not very suitable. The room used by women as surau and as table tennis court after 5.30pm by men. Sometimes cleaners also get into the room to clean up or get some tools. I occasionally met few women and men inside or in front of the room. I’m not comfortable with the way they look at me. Maybe they are wondering what am I doing in the room and what stuff did I bring along. My pump set & the bag is actually not very small but I’m OK with that. I think I should not be ashamed with that. Let other people think what they like to be ..as long as my baby & I live happily ever after

Yeah..I just managed to changed the blog’s skin today as I don’t have too many works to do..boring.. only 3 execs in the office while the rest were on holiday

Last Sat was my dearest hubby’s birthday. Abang, very happy birthday to you ;). Semoga abang diberkati Allah selalu, dipermudahkan segala urusan, panjang umur, murah rezeki, ringan tulang, ditetapkan iman, bertambah sayang to me & our kids. Luv you now and forever.

Only one week for the brother Mus’ab turning to 2 years old! Abang Mus’ab dah besar rupanya. But Abang Mus’ab in still in the learning process to talk. You can only say few words. Yang mama ingat Abang Mus’a boleh sebut:

Mama, Abah, Cucu (Susu), Atuk, Adik, Kaki, Satu, Tutup, Nak

Mama can still remember that 2 weeks ago, one clinic’s Dr advised us to meet the pediatrician to consult this problem. But many people say that Mus’ab will talk one day later and we should give more times for him! Mama believe that. What I observed is you are now learning a new word/week.
I don’t know why I have this feeling. I’m too worried leaving Mawaddah in her babysitter’s house. I’m worried if she doesn’t get enough attention and love because there are 5 others kids in the house including Mus’ab. I am start thinking of quitting job. But this is imposibble. I have 4 years left to serve the company. We also have to pay the housing loan. Now, my mom is helping us to get new babysitter.

Kami dipisahkan sejauh 15km selama 11 jam

Hari pertama berpisah memang perit..apa tidaknya..selama ni aku yang mandikannya..berikan susunya..tukar lampinnya…tidurkannya..dodoikannya..pendek kata selama 2 bulan ini memang tak pernah berenggang..Suami kata ”Mus’ab anak ayah, Mawaddah anak mama”

Bila teman-teman pejabat mula bertanya pasal anak..entah kenapa hatiku sebak..air mata mula bergenang..risau mengenangkannya duduk di rumah orang buat kali pertama …hati terasa rindu..aku tarik nafas dalam-dalam cuba tenangkan perasaan

Kemudian, rutin berjalan seperti biasa..jalankan tugas di samping mengambil sedikit waktu pejabat untuk memerah susu..alhamdulillah..hari pertama dapat 3 kali perahan..esok lusa entah bersempatan atau tidak kerana kesibukan kerja..

Tak sabar menanti jam 5.30 petang..aku ingin pulang segera kerana ingin susukan anak…pasti bekalan susu di rumah pengasuhnya dah habis tika ini
Sampai di parking area..kereta kene blocked!arghh..tension..aku dan seorang teman cuba juga keluarkan kereta..tapi tak berjaya..aku mula panic dan risau..air mata mula bergenang..tiada cara aku ke bilik kawalan untuk buat announcement …aku menunggu lagi…tapi empunya kereta tak turun jua..aku kehulu ke hilir lagi..risau bangat.Datang seorang pengawal keselamatan membantu keluarkan kereta dengan dibantu seorang staff lelaki..akhirnya berjaya tapi kemalangan kecil berlaku di bahagian bonet kereta dek terlanggar tiang batu..aku tak kisah..yang penting aku ingin pulang segera

Alhamdulillah dengan skill menyelit & memecut di celah ribuan kereta yang berpusu pulang ke rumah, aku tiba 7 minit sebelum jam 7 malam. Mawaddah menanti penuh kerinduan. Terus aku susukannya kerana aku pasti dia lapar..selesai menyusu akhirnya anakku dapat tidur nyenyak sehingga 10.15malam..pasti dia kenyang sehingga dapat lena begitu lama. Alhamdulillah

Aku serik bawa kereta..takut kereta kene blocked lagi..so today..we tried riding motorcycle with hubby..moga semua urusan kami dipermudahkan olehNYA. Amin

Jemputan ke Aqiqah Nur Mawaddah

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Dengan segal hormatnya kami menjemput kawan2 suami isteri ke Majlis Aqiqah puteri kami Nur Mawaddah binti Sudirman dan juga doa selamat masuk rumah baru pada hari ISNIN 1 Mei 2006 (labour day) selepas solat zohor bertempat di 1724 Jalan E5/6 Taman Ehsan Kepong (rumah belakang rumah parent farrah).
