Untuk nampak perbezaan..begini saiz asal dapur...tumpang ambil gambar orang sebelah yg dah tak berpenghuni selama 5 tahun..tapi tak lama lagi pemilik nak duduk
Pandangan dari luar dapur yang sedang diubahsuai. Pintu dapar dibuat tidak menghadap rumah belakang..lebih privacy. Ruang kecil pon diharap boleh sidai baju-baju kecil. Tingkap dan grill belum pasang lagi.

Dapur bahagian dalam yang dibesarkan. Ini melibatkan pemecahan dinding utama + pemecahan tiles lantai dan dinding di bahagian dapur lama. Jadi, diharapkan, tiles semua sama dan lebih menarik. Upah pecah2 dan pasang tiles yang mahal tu.

Pandangan dapur lama. Boleh nampak tiles dinding lama dah dipecahkan. Table top pon tak buat sampai hujung sebab nak tambah kabinet penyimpanan barang-barang.

Pandangan dalam bilik yang dibesarkan. Bilik utk bakal ibu yang nak berpantang eheheh. Tiles lama bilik ini juga dipecahkan dan bakal diganti baru. Saya suka yang ini..anak tangga untuk senang sampai ke rumah emak.

Designer Hood: Vento 95E Elba

I've made my decision. Yes to buy the Hood.
The selling price in the website is RM1,292.00 whilst my favorite shop offer me RM850. I'm wondering whether this brand is OK or not, but as far as the price is concern, it's quite reasonable and suit my budget. My budget for the Designer Hood is RM1K and below. What do you think? Can anyone suggest other brand?

My home refinancing

When I purchased my house in Nov 2004, I was not eligible to make the mortgage with my own company due to ‘immaturity age of service’, you know la my service is still baby , yet to reach 5 years. With no other best options, I choose M******.

Oct 2007 was the month that I’m qualified to switch may loan to my own co. So, in July 07 I started gathering all information that I need especially on the new monthly repayment, the forms and related documents and also lists of the panel lawyers. I choose a lawyer that is very near to my office, so that I won’t be wasting my time, cost and energy. The lawyers did give good service and also discount. I shall recommend them.

For the past 20 months I’ve made a total of around 18K to the bank. Most of it paid just for the Interest!! You know la. So when we (lawyers & me) requested for the redemption statement for transferring the balance of loan to T*, the balance is only RM167K. Just imagine that out of the total loan of RM170K, I paid about 15K of interest. Note that I can used this money for the renovation for our car porch which I dreamed too together with the kitchen renovation: D

So now let see the real benefits. This is just a simple and direct calculation. Pls refer the figure tabulated below: Can you see there was RM82K variance by the time I finish the mortgage. Waoh..this amount is equivalent to a Vios / Honda City today, but not in 25 years time taking into consideration of inflation rate in annual basis. in 25 yeras time, maybe it's equivalent to Saga BLM/Viva/Myvi.

In addition, I also get the refund from the bank for the months when my co. settled the total loan with bank. In my case, the refund is for 3 months.

My dream kitchen

They've emailed the drawing for my kitchen and also my storage cabinet.
And of course..because of this, I'm still driving my Proton Saga '92 ;) I just love my kitchen.

Usaha kami tak seberapa sangat pon. Kami ajak tulis bersama 'b'. Tapi dia cepat hilang konsentrasi..dia akan buat:1) lukis benda-benda lain kat kertas lain instead of 'b' 2) minda asyik terjerumus pada kereta..kereta ..kereta (ish, ikut ayah dia ni!) . Semalam wan belikan dia kereta remote control baru harga RM40..lampu dah tutup pon main lg dalam gelap. Kalau jalan ngan kami, jgn harap nk dapat kereta harga RM40..ehehe... kemut ker?

Upgrading

In addition of upgrading the kitchen….I’m also in the process of upgrading few ares of my life:

1) Family: I’m ready to conceive starting as I shall start wean Mawaddah off BF. She will be 2 years old this coming 20th March 08.
2) Personal growth: I’ll be taking an important exam (important for my self, may not important to others ;) ) this coming March, just before the election. I shall discipline my self to study hard everyday, rather than surfing the Internet finding more recipe, more blog’s template and other non-value added activities.

Note: Progress of my kitchen renovation is deem slow . The workers love to take leave especially during public holiday and Sat & Sun. I have no confident that the kitchen will be ready by end of Feb 08. We are now residing in my mom’s house since CNY.

Cream puff

Cream puff
200ml water

95g butter - room temperature, slice into 1cm

130g flour

4 eggs

Cara-cara:
1. Ayak tepung dan ketepikan
2. Pecahkan telur dan pukul seditkit
3. Letak butter dan air dalam satu periuk dan panaskan pada suhu sederhana hingga mentega cair. Alihkan dari stove.
4. Tambah tepung dan kacau sebati.
5. Panaskan atas dapur semula seketika dan alihkan dari dapur
6. Masukkan telur tadi dan kacau sebati. Biar sejuk sedikit sebelum masukkan dalam piping beg. 7. Gunakan nozzle bulat atau bintang saiz besar dan paikan atas loyang pembakar yang telah disapu marjerin.
8. Spray sedikit dengan air atas permukaan cream puff tadi sebelum dibakar

9. Bakar pada suhu 175 selama 25-35 minit atau selalu tengok ove. Kalau cream puff telah bertukar warna perang keemasan, dah siap la tu.
10. Sejukkan dan masukkan custard cream

Custard cream
1 tablespoon flour

1 tablespoon cornstarch

4 tablespoons sugar

200ml (1 cup) fresh milk

1 egg (L size)

1 tablespoon butter

Cara-cara:
1. Campurkan tepung, gula dan susu kedalam periuk kecil dan kacau sebati
2. Panaskan atas api kecil
3. Masukkan telur dan terus kacau sehingga pekat. Jangan besarkan api.
4. Masukkan mentega dan kacau sehingga pekat
5. Sejukkan sebelum dimasukkan ke dalam cream puff yang telah dibakar.

Cream puff di atas menggunakan nozzle bintang/rossete.
