Sunday story

1) Mus'sb was enrolled to PASTI yesterday morning. Total fees was RM414 and for monthly fees is RM60 (including meal) . We've paid RM 300 only and will pay the rest later. Hope Mus'ab can behave and follow the teacher's instruction.

PASTI uniform. Mus'ab is wearing size M. Price: RM35

4 years school books. I have to hide the books, otherwise kids ( especially adik) will damage it. 6 books all together.

May Allah bless us and Mus'ab. The class will commence on this coming Friday for 3.5 hours (8am-11.30am) . For sure, I'll be taking my one day leave. He will go to PASTI by his babysitter's car as their youngest daughter is also enrolling PASTI @ 5 yrs old.

2) While Abang is not around after Zohor until maghrib, I was buzy with preparing Carrot Muffin and then moving all items from the old kitchen cabinet to the room. The old cabinet will be broken up and replace with new table top. Most (90%) of the gadgets is yet to be used as we are waiting suitable cabinet to locate all of the items. Most of them are our wedding gifts except 3 Alfreso sets ( sape nak kasi beb , mahal!)

I shall resume the moving activity tomorrow. Plan to move the items from the store plak. Our kitchen + room renno will start by next week insyallah.

Hytex Sales

Hytex new year sales is back! It's now on until end of Jan 2008. This is the sales that I was waiting for so as other parents. I bet you , expecting mom will go crazy about it.

I got all these at RM69.00, went to Hytex alone as kids for sure may disturb my concentration in addition that there are many people especially Chinese customers crowding the factory area. ++ after Hytex I went to HOI buying my cake's ingredients stock ( my routine every Sat)

Other tempting offer are baby's gift set, baby's bed set, wet tissues, shoes (baby & kids), stroller ( about 6 types of stroller starting from RM50++)

Semalam kali pertama saya jual CupCakes bukan berdasarkan tempahan. Asalnya kek tersebut ditempah oleh seorang pelanggan yang batalkan tempahan lepas kek dah siap. Dari 25 cuppies saya masukkan kepada 2 box setiap satu ada 9 cuppies. Lihat keknya disini. Mulanya risau takut tak laku, tapi lepas 30 minit broadcast email kepada beberapa kengkawan & pelanggan2 lepas, terus sold out kedua-dua boxes. Pelanggannya tak jauh pon, rakan-rakan pejabat yang lapar belum sarapan ;). Yang selebihnya ( kek yang ada dedikasi) saya & adik la yang habiskan.

Alhamdulillah, lain kali kalau ada lebih masa & tenaga nak juga cuba bawak kek/tart untuk dijual terus bukan berdasarkan tempahan. Nak test market sambil-sambil tambah pendapatan sampingan.

Jadi, berdasarkan pengalaman ini, saya memohon pelanggan yang budiman bayar at least 50% deposit semasa membuat tempahan. Tapi kalau pelanggan biasa, saya boleh consider tanpa deposit. Semua atas budi bicara ;)

Minta maaf kepada 3 rakan yang tak dapat saya buatkan keknya hari ini. Minggu ni tetiap hari saya balik dr pejabat lewat (sampai umah lepas maghrib). Tengahari pon tak rehat, kawan tolong tapaukan aje. Sampai umah dah penat sangat, still masak dinner, buat sayur goreng dan goreng nugget. Macam tu la biasanya bila masa tak cukup + kepenatan. Ni ha kain ada 2 bakul nak kene lipat esok.

Pasal Mus'ab, kami mungkin tak jadi daftarkan dia masuk PASTI sebab suami tercinta tak berapa yakin Mus'ab boleh bagitau Cikgu dia masa nak membuang air kecil/besar since dia dah tak pakai lampin ni. But as for me, I confident aje. Sekarang ni dia dah ada mini beg sekolah, buku warna, warna pensil yang saya belikan. Tetiap hari excited melukis itu ini, even before gi umah pengasuh pon mintak nak bawa buku. Buku warna dia & adik ada buku asing2, but pencil colour kene kongsi sebab sekejap sangat jangka hayatnya.

#1. Gi kursus kat Melaka 4 hari 3 malam aku bawak semua sekali. Tak sampai hati nak tinggalkan Mawaddah tak menyusu 3 malam. So macam biasa babysitter was her daddy. Thanx Abg! Kesian sgt family sebab tak enjoy sgt coz my training everyday sampai malam. Aku sendiri penat bangat. Bestnya dapat ramai kenalan baru abang2 & kakak2 polis, bomba, hospital & JPA3 ;)

#2. Hari raya lepas zohor kami aku, mawaddah & mus'ab balik Kg nenekku di N9. Abang tak ikut coz nak siapkan projek IT dia. Mak & adikku pon ikut sekali kami 1 kete. Abahku tak balik coz lepas nolong2 gotong royong korban, dia nak balik Kg Perak. Kami takde masak apa2 yang istimewa pon. Aku just buat Carrot Moist Cake untuk bawak balik kg. Petang Jumaat kami pulang ke KL semula.

#3. Sabtu pagi- aktiviti mengemas rumah, after zohor- gi kenduri Labo@Shelly. Lepas asar pulak aku buat projek 'easy made cookies'. Ingat tak dulu aku pernah dapat Cookies Mix percuma masa beli SPAR mixer? So, baik la guna sebelum expired. Mudah aje buatnya. Beginner2 semua boleh buat.
Resipi dia camni:

Basic plain cookies:
1 kg Cookies Mix
500 gm butter- softened

For variety of flavor: You may add anything you like eg: choc chip, almond nib, oat etc.

Step:
1. Add butter & cookies mix in one large bowl.
2. Stir until well combined. Add other ingredients.
3. Place spoonful of batter onto tray.
4. Bake for 15-20 min.

I make 3 types of cookies with 1 kg cookies mix:

1. Almond butter cookies.

Add almond nib only! Amount? just add according to your taste.

2. Choc Chip and oat cookies.
Add: 1-2 tablespoon of sifted cocoa powder + almond nib, Oat & Choc Chip just agak2. If the batter become harder , just add butter/shortening. I used shortening to give the crisp texture.

3. Choc Chip Cookies

Add: as above ( choc chip & oat cookies), just omit the oat.

Without so much effort, 1 kg cookies mix gave me 4 containers la. Among all, I love the Choc Chip & Oat Cookies. Credit to the Cookies Mix ( selling price RM3.30/kg 2 months ago)

Saturday we went to Cineleisure, Mutiara Damansara as my department is having a bowling tournament. If not mistaken, the last time I play bowl maybe about 6 yrs ago. No wonder la my was score was among the lowest during the tournament. Hehehe. There were about 604 pax ++ joined the game. It was fun. I’m getting to know each of the new member where almost of them are from Internet/Streamyx group. With only RM10, we got the game, goodies bag, lucky draw (I never had the luck!), and lunch @ Dkayu Nasi Kandar. We only tapau the lunch as kids becoming restless when time is almost 1pm. The rest of the day, I just slept thru like penat gile main bowl hihihi.

Yesterday was a very productive day. Abang was not at home as having a new project discussion for bout 4 hours. I did all the housekeeping tasks: sweep the floor, fold the clothes, mop the floor downstairs and upstairs, clean 1 toilet. Ni pon ah cukup penat + sakit pinggang. Then Abang said he wanted to eat cake, I suggest King’s but he wanted the homemade one. So I find my own time to bake some more baby cheesecakes.

Right after zohor, we went to Nini’s wedding @ Selayang. Then Kak Zizah arrived. I’ve decided to take up the Takaful for the kids. So yesterday, we are making a step forward for the kids’ future. That is TakafulLink Cerdik. We contribute RM75 per month for each one or =RM150 for both. This unique plan gives the Protection & Education. This plan may qualify us for the RM3,000 education tax relief.

After Asar, the architect came for the 4^th time. This time we may say this is the final layout for the kitchen renovation. Out of the 5 potential contractors, I may say that we & have shortlisted only 2. We will give the final layout which was endorsed by the architect and MPS to the 2 contractors quote again. I’m going to a very important training for the nation, handling Emergency Call @ Melaka today. Sound great huh. Bye bye KL.

I just received this QuickStraw Cup for Mus'ab. Bought from Momslittleones as they are offering this product at discount price RM25 only instead of RM45. I'm planning to wean off bottle before he start going to PASTI. To date, I've purchased 5 items from MomsLittleOne.

I'm going for 4 days training @ melaka next week. In dilemma whether to bring along my BF baby or not. mmm

Kesian gigiku

Sabtu lepas, aku ke klinik gigi untuk kali ke 3 sejak dr deepavali. Actually gigi depan aku ni dah banyak kali terhantuk ngan kepala anak-anak yang cukup aktif, suka sangat berlaga kepala ngan gigi depan aku. So gigi ni dah lari sket dr kedudukan, patah sket & goyang sket. Akibatnya aku perlu menjalani root canal treatment. Dulu aku takut gila nk jumpa doktor gigi. Tapi la ni dah biasa, tak takut sangat coz every year dah mula jumpa dr gigi nak buang karies gigi. La ni pon aku mesti guna dental floss tetiap malam lepas gosok gigi :D Pergh semangat gitu! Takut aku pon hilang bila banding ngan sakit bersalin, aduhai mmg terasa beza sgt & terus jd tak takut. Lepas ke dentist aku singgah 2 kedai:Care4 & HOI. Barang-barang mentah nak buat kek memang ler dah naik harga bukan aje kat Yen, kat HOI pon dah naik. Rata-rata yg naik: Cream Cheese, butter, tepung, filling like blueberry filling dll. Lepas zohor kami ke ofis kejap hantar kek untuk Asmah dan terus ke rumah YatiPruz.

Ahad plak tade buat apa. Lepas kemas umah & buat kek untuk Ipah, tangan ni gatal sangat nak buat Cheesecake terbaru. Ni semua gara-gara dapat inspirasi dr Buku Juniors yang baru beli, my very 1st Cheesecake cookbook. Lps buat kek tu kami ke kenduri kawin rumah kawan Abang, dekat je kt Selayang. So, kengkawan jangan lupa lihat kek terbaru Smiley disini. Suka btol aku ngan kek ni sebab tak crack langsung! Semuanya sebab ikut tips Juniors! Nak tau apa rahsianya? will share later2 la kot. Baby cheesecake aku ni Cik Abang & Mawaddah memang suka sangat. As usual, Mus'ab langsung le tak pandang. Agak2 rugi tak dia? ehehe

Aku ni mmg suka baking but not limited to kek only, sesekali aku buat gak roti agar ilmu/skill yg tak seberapa ni tak berkarat. So last week I made this Bread Potato yang rupanya tak berapa beautiful but still tasty as claimed by my Abang & Abah. Lagipon tepung buat roti ni aku dpt percuma dulu masa beli SPAR mixer.
