Itinerary NZ selama 8 hari dan info bajet :)

Hari ni I wanna share the overall itinerary of our last trip to South Island NZ from 21 to 28 Nov 2015. Trip ni actually consist of 7 families but not everyone is on the same agenda. 2 families choose motorhome and the rest including us just using car/mpv.

Day 1: Christchurch- Rakaia George- Lake Tekapo
~ Canterbury museum
~ Lunch at Kebabland level 1 Westfield Riccarton and then groceries shopping at pak n'save (same place)
~ Take inland scenic view to Rakaia George having stunning view of the turquoise waters.
~ Activity : Discovery Jet Boat. More info on family activities in NZ . Cost NZD45 adult
~ Accommodation: Lake Tekapo Holiday Park. 2 bedroom house NZD220

Day 2: Lake Tekapo-LAke Pukaki-Twizel- Wanaka- Lindin Pass- Queenstown
~ Church of Good shepherd antara port strategik nak stargazing
~ Mount John Observatory; Another excellent place for stargazing.
~ Lake Pukaki. Lake Pukaki is the largest of three roughly parallel alpine lakes running north-south along the northern edge of the Mackenzie Basin on New Zealand's South Island. Turquoise blue for the whole lake, with snowy alps on the background.
~ High Country Salmon. Free feeding the salmon. Tapau salmon for dinner too!
~ Lindin Pass
~ Wanaka Lake; having lunch here
~ Wanaka Puzzling World; kids love it so much! Cost NZD 66 for family 2 adults and 4 kids.
~ Cromwell: Jone's Fruit Stall. Enjoy best NZ fruit ice cream pergh
~ Arrowtown; Bandar style 70 an
~ Activity : Discovery Jet Boat. More info on family activities in NZ
~ Accommodation: Pinewood Lodge. 2 bedroom house NZD160

Day 3: Queenstown
~ Water sports Queenstown: Aqua Bike. But ours was cancelled due to bad weather.
~ Skyline Gondola + 8 Luge Rides Queenstown Family Pass NZD127
~ Glenorchy; tempat shooting LOTR
~ Lake Wakatipu
~ Queenstown mall; Shopping cheap souvenirs like Tshirt, Fridge Magnet, manuka honey skincare and lots more at DF Souvenir, shop closed at 11pm.

Day 4: Queenstown- Te Anau 
~ Kawarau Zipride and Bungy. We only did Zipride. Cost NZD25 per adult/kids.
~ Queenstown Garden
~Te Anau
~ Accommodation: Alpine View Motel

Day 5: Te Anau- Milford Sound- Dunedin
~ Milford Sound Cruise. Cost NZD 113 for family 2 adults and 4 kids
~ Gore. Fuel cost a bit cheaper here than Te Anau
~ Dunedin beach
~ Groceries shopping at Pak n Save. Get fuel discount voucher here. Highly recommended!
~Accommodation: Beach motel Dunedin . 2 bedroom NZD160

Day 6: Dunedin
~ Cadbury's World. NZD 56 family tickets
~ Dunedin railway station
~ Otago University.
~ The Royal Albatross Centre
~ Sandy Mount
~ Baldwin Street (world’s steepest street)

Day 7: Dunedin- Oamaru - Elephant Rocks
~ Otago museum
~ Moeraki Boulders, Oamaru
~ Caroline Bay,Timaru nak tgk penguin tapi penguin keluar malam jek huwa
~ Elephant Rocks; Massive limestone formations sitting in a sea of grass on private farmland.
~ Accommodation: John Holiday Park . 3 bedroom NZD180

Day 8: Christchurch
~ Air Force Museum
~ Christchurch Botanic Gardens
~ Kayak @ Avon River. NZD45 for 2 pax=per kayak

Flight ticket:
Kul to Melbourne by AirasiaX: RM654 not including meal and luggage
Melbourne to Chc by Jetstar RM598 including luggage
Total RM1332 per pax including meal and lugagge

7N accommodations for 2/3 bedroom motel/house equipped with kitchenette.:NZD1200

Laundry for 2 times:NZD17

Travel insurance for 2 countries NZ and OZ: RM175 per family

Groceries: NZD520


Car rental : NZD777 ( Estima)

Parking: NZD9 ( queenstown, dunedin, chc)

Activities for the whole family: NZD730 ( in total ada 9 payable activities)

Communication: Spark NZD25. Highly recommended. Beli kat Airport It comes with sim card and 1.5GB data usage. It offers lots of wifi hotspot, just check out all Spark's public phone. We save a lot on this!

So in summary per pax is not more than RM3.5K only including flight tix with lots of activities in South Island...except bungy jumping huwa

kalau 2 adults +3 children (5yo, 3yo + 9mo) whic is better?
car + hotel/motel or motorhomes?
