Easy Crispy and Light Waffle Recipe I

  • I'm in the midst of testing few recipe of waffle to find the best waffle like A&W. In addition, today Mus'ab request waffle again. He wanted to eat with MILO only. For this 1st recipe, the final product is quite good, light and crispy, overall better than the waffle made from waffle mix. My recipe as below based on the original recipe taken from allrecipe.

  • Easy Crispy and Light Waffle Recipe I

  • Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups superfine flour ( with 2 tablespoon of corn flour making up 2 cups of flour)
  • 1 3/4 cups fresh milk ( I add another 2 tablespoon of water)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable/cooking oil
  • 1.5 tablespoon white sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Steps:
  • 1. I blend all ingredients in food processor/blender until smooth.
  • 2. Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot.

Why I used superfine flour?
The texture is very fine than the all purpose flour. I hope that the waffle will turn out very good.

Why I used corn flour?
Corn flour make my cookies crispy and I hope the waffle will follow too heeee

The color is not even because I put the batter too much. So the lid of the waffle maker cannot close properly during baking.

I eat waffle with butter and honey. It's so so tasty yummy delicious. Thanks to the good suggestion in FB. Tak hingat dah sape yg cadangkan :)
Hak ni lain sket warnanya kan? Sbb aku sibuk wat koje umah + bby bf, bila nk makan semula waffle dah sejuk. So masukkan je dlm toaster, panas balik!
