Musim Carrot Cake...

Assalamualaikum...kalau tak tengok citer Korea, maksudnya masa nak bersilat kat dapur tu lebih sket. Minggu ni sahaja dah 2 kali buat Carrot Cake , cuma last week kek guna resipi dari myresipi.com sebab adhoc sangat. Buka kabinet barang kek, bahan apa yg ada kite belasah je masuk. Walnut pon tak banyak..cheese pon tade..tade topping pon carrot cake dimakan panas-panas mmg sedap. Cer try kalau tak cayer. So dek kerna tade frosting malas nak posingkan Carrot Cake.

Last Wed pergi kedai barang kek. Beli lagi walnut dan Cream Cheese. Rasa nak kene ulang buat Carrot Cake sebab yg last punya mmg cepat sangat losap. Kebetulan makcik datang, mestila kita hidang kek air tangan kita ye dok? :)

Ekceli saya ingat nak guna tepung wholemeal kali ni tapi out of stock la pulak. Jadinya, guna aja tepung gandum biasa. Rasanya tetap sedap sehingga menjilat piring...Kebetulan masa nak bayor haritu beratur belakang seorang peniaga kek, dia beli loyang2 kek yang pendek. Saya tegur le beli loyang pendek ni sebab dah tak payah potong2 tengah ek kek kalau nak letak krim? Katanya Ya, dan jimat lagi masa membakar. 
Ok cun! terus dapat idea...so kali ni carrot cake buat kat 2 loyang 9 inci sebab nak letak cream cheese frosting kat bahagian tengah. Baru ada feel sket Carrot Cake macam kat kedai kihkih

Kek dah siap ditempek Cream Cheese Krim. Lepas tu Mawaddah sibuk soh tampal Angry Bird edible image yg dah dibeli last Wed. Ekceli nak guna masa besday Maher, tapi takpe sbb dapat 3 ketul..kite guna 2 gambar yg kecik dulu.

Siap! Macam tak sesuai kan angry bird dok bertenggek atas Carrot Cake. Tapi sbb letak angry bird tu la agaknya Mawaddah makan banyak..

Carrot Cake~ all time favorite cake for the whole family! except Mus'ab . Ab layan Choc Cake shj...

Resipi dah pernah tempek dulu..meh tempek lagi ..copy and paste aje from my fb huhu 

Ingredients:
210gm castor sugar ( used 110gm castor + 100gm brown sugar) 
225gm corn oil
4 eggs 

200gm carrot, grated
110gm pineapple, chopped and drained ( tade, so tak payah letak pon takpe, langsung x mencacatkan kek)
50gm walnuts, chopped roughly ( used 1 cawan walnuts)
50 gm raisin, chopped roughly ( used 1 kotak kecik Ligo raisin)

250gm cups superfine flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
(all sift together)- tak ayak pon, malas!!! haha

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1. Beat in a separate bowl the eggs, oil and vanilla. 
2. Chuck in all dry ingredients and carrot. Stir well until all combined. 
3. Pour into round/square 9" pan, lined and greased, and bake in 180C oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 
4. Cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting.

Cream cheese frosting

100gm cream cheese
100gm unsalted butter ( guna butter biasa pon takpe)
100gm icing sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. In a bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. 
2. Mix in the vanilla, then gradually stir in the icing sugar.

angry bird tepek kat mana2 pon ok...kat umah ni mamanya x buat kek depa tepek kat sofa, kat dinding kat pintu...adeh
